Description: In October 2011, the public broadcasting entities operating under Texas Tech University — KOHM-FM, KOHM-FM HD2 and KTXT-TV Channel 5 – merged.
On Jan. 15, 2012, these stations, both radio and television, will become known under the new FCC call letters KTTZ-FM and KTTZ-TV Ch. 5 — Texas Tech Public Broadcasting.
