NM school worker faces molestation charges

MAGDALENA, N.M. (AP) – A behavioral specialist at Alamo School in Socorro County has been accused of molesting a 15-year-old girl.

Mark W. Shaddock of Magdalena was arrested Tuesday. State police say the 44-year-old Shaddock worked at the school when the allegations emerged.

Prosecutors say Shaddock faces three counts each of criminal sexual penetration and kidnapping, two counts of criminal sexual contact, four counts of child abuse and one count of aggravated stalking.

State police say the alleged crimes occurred over a period of months, starting in the spring.
