ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (AP) – Federal funds will begin flowing to the Santa Clara Pueblo for help in controlling water pollution.
The Environmental Protection Agency announced Thursday it has awarded $166,000 to the pueblo north of Santa Fe.
The federal agency said in a news release that surface water sampling on pueblo lands will continue to determine if a more thorough watershed management program is needed to develop water quality standards.
