D-Day: As It Was Reported. Produced by David Walker and Derrick Ginter back in 2004, this hour-long program features actual recorded broadcasts from the breaking news reports broadcast on radio networks of the day. This program conveys an inkling of the first news reports on the Normandy Invasion as heard by Americans 64 years ago.
PLEASE NOTE:
We currently have the equipment to broadcast an HD3 stream, but as yet lack the automation and ancillary equipment needed to properly do it. Right now, the HD3 channel is simply a CD player attached to the broadcast equipment so as to play test audio. There is no schedule for ANY programming on our HD3 signal YET, simply because it’s not ready for prime time.
We can and do occasionally swap out the CD, and whatever is being played will be posted on this page. Program Director Clint Barrick is still mulling over some ideas about our HD3 programming, but NOTHING has been decided since we lack the proper equipment needed to do it. If you have any suggestions for our HD3 channel, please feel free to contact Clint!
Here’s a PROPOSED lineup of programming for HD3 once the necessary equipment is installed:
Morning Edition (9am & 10am CST)
Bob Edwards Weekend
Marketplace Afternoon
The Tavis Smiley Show
Latino USA
Radio Bilingue
PRI’s Studio 360
Echoes
On Point
Only a Game
